Yad Izhak Ben-Zvi’s (YBZ) Public Committees
The Public Council
The Public Council’s mission is to lay down general guidelines for YBZ’s activities in keeping with the Yad Ben-Zvi Law; to initiate new plans of action; to review and discuss financial reports; to authorize the annual budget, and to discuss any other issues which fall within the framework of YBZ’s goals. The Public Council includes representatives of the government, the Knesset, the Municipality of Jerusalem, Israeli universities and public figures.

The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee’s task is to discuss and reach decisions in all matters concerning YBZ and to review reports concerning YBZ’s routine activities. The Committee also appoints members of the YBZ’s various committees.

The Audit Committee
The Audit Committee is a permanent committee appointed by the Executive Committee which reviews the comptroller's reports presented according to a set schedule. The Audit Committee’s recommendations are presented for the approval of the Executive Committee.
