Yad Ben-Zvi plans and runs programs for all ages and target audiences: tours and lectures, seminars and workshops, specialized programs and more. Our educational staff has vast experience in programs from kindergarten and pre-school, through high school to academic students and staff, tour guides, military personnel (including commanding staff and senior officers of the Israeli security forces), and the general public.
We take an in-depth look at Jerusalem and its varied population, the city’s long history and geo-political status, Jerusalem’s unique place in history and society, and Jewish culture and peoplehood. We look at living links to past and present, at the influences of various cultures and religions, and at our own personal ties and lessons. We do this in the classroom and out in the field, in the alleys where you can really feel the city, talk to people, see the marks of generations and influence the future.
Our programs (in Hebrew) include: My Jerusalem, Leading to the Neighborhood, Jewish Peoplehood, Garden of Piyyutim, Trail of Sources, Enchanted City, The Jerusalem Advantage, the Presidential institution, Building a State, and more.
